Park on the Place du Tilleul and take the time to read its history. The apartment is in view, on the other side of Place Albert Ferry with its traditional carousel that children love. Restaurants all around: you can choose once you have met our family concierge service, who hands you the keys in person and takes you to the apartment.
You walk in, cross the kitchen and the living room and discover the balcony. Look across the fountain… remember that little terrace, “Chez Mémé”, where, back from the lake (reachable on foot), young and old will enjoy afternoon snacks and breakfasts in an old-fashioned atmosphere.
Take the stairs and discover the home-working corner with its printer. The Italian-style bathroom blends stone and wood, chalet-fashion. Finally the main bedroom, where from the king-size bed you will watch the mountains and their fir forests at dawn.
Everything you need is here. From the coffee maker to the crêpe pan, not forgetting the raclette and fondue sets. The TV and its connected speaker (mind the neighbours). A filtering fan and a portable air conditioner keep your summer nights cool. In winter, the underfloor heating is supplemented by inertia convectors that adapt to your presence; you can adjust the setpoint on their central thermostat. Comfortably settled, you are also safe, with several smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
From the walk around the lake to the visit of the famous textile mill outlets, everything is within walking distance. With sturdier shoes, you can set off on one of the many trails through the forests. Don’t miss the climb to the Tour de Mérelle and its superb panoramic view.
